Building Hope. Creating Opportunities. Strengthening Communities.

Empowering Lives. Restoring Hope. Building Stronger Communities.

Working towards a future where disadvantaged children, women, young people and vulnerable families have access to opportunity, dignity and support.

Welcome

Welcome to IFES Foundation

IFES Foundation (Ikogwe Friday Education & Skills Foundation) is a Nigerian non-governmental organisation incorporated in 2016. Building on its founding emphasis on education and practical skills development, the Foundation is shaping a wider humanitarian and community development mission.

Our approach brings together education, economic opportunity and needs-based community assistance. We believe these priorities are connected: children need access to learning, adults need routes towards sustainable livelihoods, and families facing hardship need respectful and practical support.

Our Mission

To improve opportunities and wellbeing through education, economic empowerment, humanitarian assistance and inclusive community partnerships.

Our Story

Our heritage in education and skills

IFES Foundation grew from a conviction that learning and hands-on skills can change the course of a young person’s life. Technical and vocational education remain part of that identity. Our proposed humanitarian direction builds on this heritage rather than replacing it, broadening the range of needs the Foundation seeks to address.
